Charlotte Philharmonic Community Chorus

The Community Chorus, directed by Marc Setzer, will perform with the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra at the popular Christmas show entitled “Christmas Fantasy” on November 27th at the Belk Theater. This outstanding choir, approximately 175 in number, will sing selections from the Messiah and other seasonal favorites. It will be comprised of a combination of award winning ensembles and choirs from Providence High School and South Meck High School.

Ms. Terri Setzer, vocal director of Providence High School and Marc Setzer, vocal director of South Meck will join their choirs together for this powerful performance.
Mr. and Mrs. Setzer are recognized across the Carolinas for their expertise and skill in developing and directing award winning musical groups. It is an honor to have them perform again this year with the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra. We are proud to offer this unique concert opportunity to the youth of our city, enabling them to experience first hand performing in live concert.
